Australian Bushfire Help is here to help provide a network for those needing help after experiencing bushfires. On this page you will find a summary of current assistance available through Government agencies and charitable organisations for individuals and businesses.
Bushfire Recovery Victoria
Bushfire Recovery Victoria is a new, permanent Victorian Government agency working closely with bushfire-affected communities to deliver the support they need as they recover.
Small Business Bushfire Recovery Grants Victoria
Grants of up to $50,000 are available to eligible Victorian small businesses affected by the Victorian bushfires
National Emergency Management Agency
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is supporting families and communities across Australia on their disaster recovery journey.
NEMA also delivers programs supporting medium to long-term recovery for communities that will enhance and strengthen their resilience that will lessen the impact of future disasters.

Bushfire Recovery Connect
Recovery Connect brings together services and supports from charities, organisations and government directly to you. This assistance helps people prepare for and recover from disasters and major natural events. Check back in regularly as we frequently add new services and update existing ones.

BlazeAid
Working alongside the rural families, Blaze Aid volunteers help to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed through bushfires.
BlazeAid volunteers work in a disaster-affected area for many months, not only helping individuals and families, but also helping rebuild the local communities.
Interim accommodation for rebuilding after Bushfires. The Pop Cottage is a prefabricated building offered at cost.
For Bushfire victims, SIP Haus are offering the Pop Cottage at cost, to any family that has lost their home. SIP Haus are offering a price that does not include any profit margin, or their license fee.
The cost is $33,000 per building to any port in Australia. That price includes:

Includes electrics, plumbing, tiling, painting and cabinetry - no need for those trades on site.

The Shed of Hope Inc.
The Shed of Hope Inc was founded in February 2019 after the Drake, Tabulam and Tenterfield fires.
The Shed of Hope Inc. provide support for those affected by the fires by providing sheds for those that lost their homes due to the bushfires, repair of existing sheds, food items, water, furniture and water storage, as well as building materials for those rebuilding their homes, we also provide other services such as counselling and on going support to those that need it.
The shed includes a food grade water tank and a sink. Sheds are within Local Government Authority guidelines.

The Bushfire Foundationn Bushfire Recovery Support Team (Volunteers) can assist you if you are Elderly, Injured or Disabled, In financial Hardship or Un-Insured to:
Clear your Property and site; Assistance with salvaging personal items; General property maintenance and repairs; Demolition or removal of unsafe structures (Sheds, Carports, Completely Burnt Homes); Regaining Access (like clearing roads, tracks or driveways); Re-planting of native vegetation on your site or planting new vegetation on your site.
